Abstract
Nauru Clarisa Zuhrifa. Begitmer Voters' Perceptions of the Implementation of the 2020 Simultaneous Regional Head Elections (Case Study in Sukosari Village, Babadan District, Ponorogo Regency). Thesis. Pancasila and Citizenship Education Study Program, University of Muhammadiyah Ponorogo, Advisor 1 Dr. Sidton, M.Si, Advisor II Dr. Ardhana Jaimar Mahardhani, MKP. This study aims to: 1) To find out the perception of novice voters to the implementation of the 2020 Simultaneous Pilkada in Sukosari Village 2) To find out the factors that lead to the perception of novice voters to the implementation of the 2020 Simultaneous Pilkada hi Sukosari Village. This study uses a descriptive qualitative research method to miderstand the phenomenon of beginner voters' perceptions of the 2020 simultaneous regional elections in Sukosari Village, Babadan District, Ponorogo Regency. As for this research, in collecting data using observation, interview and documentation procedures The results of this study are: (1) The perception of novice voters on the implementation of the 2020 simultaneous regional elections in Sukosari Village is measured by hiow ledge, under standing, and attitudes. The hiowledge possessed by novice voters in Sukosari Village regarding the implementation of PILKADA is low. Novice voters don’t miderstand the process of conduting elections in SUkosari Village. The attitude of novice voters in the PILKADA 2020 was happy and calm hi participating in the election in Sukosari village and there was no news that resulted in disputes between supporters of the candidate. (2) Factors that influence novice voters on the implementation There are two simultaneous regional elections in Sukosari Village in 2020, namely functional factors and structural factors. The functional factor can be seen fi’om the novice voters in Sukosari Village who are less participatory in terms of elections, therefore missing information such as the delivery of campaigns by the candidate pairs can be missed. Structural factors in the implementation of the 2020 PILKADA can be concluded that almost all novice voters in Sukosari Village are included in the category of voter lists which are updated with data collection carried out by the election officer committee.
