The crime of rape is a crime related to decency and can damage the dignity of the victim, besides that there are also sanctions for criminal acts accompanied by certain actions such as taking the lives of others and being carried out against minors.
Rape has an unusual impact so that it can be categorized as a crime that can be subject to more severe sanctions or certain additional sanctions. The impact on the victim includes physical, social, mental and psychological impacts that have long-term consequences. The purpose of writing this thesis is to analyze rape which is included in the aggravating category and the impact after the punishment for the perpetrators is increased and the psychological impact that occurs for the victim after the rape incident.
