This research aims to; 1) to find out the practice of religious moderation among religious people in Bulu Lor Village, Jambon District, Ponorogo Regency, 2) To find out the supporting factors and inhibiting factors in carrying out moderation between Muslims and Buddhists.
This research is a qualitative research with a case study method in Bulu Lor Village. The data research instruments carried out include documentation, observation, and interviews. While the data analysis using data triagulation.
The results of this case study show that 1) Moderation practices in Bulu Lor Village are as follows; a) Giving freedom to choose religion and participating in 17 August activities b) mutual respect for beliefs and respect for other adherents, c) Creating harmony and creating a conducive atmosphere in society is to be a good person, stop judging others, love people others, creating a peaceful atmosphere. d) Acceptance of tradition in the Bulu Lor community, namely holding social activities such as mutual cooperation. 2) Supporting factors and inhibiting factors include inhibiting factors, namely the lack of activity budget. While there are two supporting factors, namely; a) Coordination, b) Bureaucracy and leadership support.
