NURSING CARE IN PRE OPERATION CLOSE FRACTURE 1/3 DISTAL PATIENTS OF TIBIA FIBULA WITH ANXIETY NURSING PROBLEMS

Anxiety is a feeling of discomfort or worry that is not clearly accompanied by an autonomic response (the source is usually unspecified or unknown to the individual), a feeling of fear that is anticipated by a feeling of danger. If the problem is not addressed immediately it will cause new problems such as increased pulse rate, fear, nausea, vomiting, restlessness, shaking, dizziness, and feeling hot and cold. The purpose of this study was to apply nursing care to patients before surgery for closed fractures of the distal 1/3 of the tibia fibula with anxiety nursing problems.
The method used is problem solving with a nursing process approach. The participants in this study were pre-op patients with closed fracture 1/3 of the distal tibia fibula with anxiety nursing problems in the Flamboyant Room, RSUD Dr. Harjono, Ponorogo. This nursing care was carried out for 2 days in June 2022.
The results of the study found Mrs. N anxiety, fear of failure, difficulty sleeping, pale face, anxiety, and restlessness. Nursing plans and actions are carried out in accordance with the nursing interventions contained in SIKI, namely providing full support in the form of asking the family to always accompany the client during treatment, encouraging the family to continue to encourage the client, creating a therapeutic atmosphere, motivating to identify situations that trigger anxiety, teaching breathing relaxation techniques. deeply, monitors response to relaxation therapy, and teaches distraction techniques by means of dhikr. The results of the evaluation that have been carried out are obtained verbalization of worry due to the condition that will be faced by the client decreases, pulse rate increases, and feelings of helplessness improve.
