ABSTRACT

Innovation is something new or updating that is formed in a product, idea, design, and so on. Judging from the innovation of village government performance to create a governance mechanism that can realize the vision and mission of village government for a prosperous society. Thus the research is: to find out how Village Government innovations are in digital-based public services, and to find out the community's response to digital-based public services. The research method was carried out using a qualitative approach, the types and sources of data included primary and secondary data. Data collection through interviews and documentation techniques. Research instruments include interview guides and field notes, sampling technique using purposive sampling. The validity of the data using triangulation techniques. Analysis with Reduction, Presentation and Drawing conclusions. The results of the Digital-Based Government Service Innovation Research in Grogol Village, Sawoo District, Ponorogo Regency, can be said to have been successful in various aspects. The factors that affect the performance of the Village Government in carrying out their duties to fulfill public services to the community, namely the lack of socialization and the way of thinking of the community to increase participation and good cooperation between village officials and village communities.
