In the life of society has a close relationship with religious and social attitudes. So tahlilan activities have a very important relationship and can be used as a reference in everyday behavior. So the values of tahlilan in its application include the value of social discipline and work ethic. The three things that are interesting to examine in more depth are the contribution of tahlilan values in strengthening the discipline of congregational prayers. (reasons for conducting research)
This study uses qualitative research to provide a descriptive description of the contribution of tahlilan values in strengthening the discipline of congregational prayers. Research location: Dukuh Senarang, Temon Sawoo Village, Ponorogo. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis technique is data triangulation, namely by combining data from various aspects to draw conclusions from the results of studying a problem.
Research results: 1. The values of tahlilan in strengthening community discipline can be summarized as follows: a. Discipline is present in social activities. b. The discipline of congregational prayer. c. Work discipline. 2. The contribution of tahlilan values in strengthening the discipline of congregational prayers. can be concluded as follows: a. Tahlilan is used as a means of preaching to carry out congregational prayers. b. Community discipline in carrying out tahlilan has an impact on community discipline in congregational prayers. c. The mosque is the center of community activities.
