Abstract

Parking arrangement is one of the problems that arise in the application
functions and tasks UPTD Department of Transportation Ponorogo. Judging from the conditions
parking is less organized, and still use the body of the road
cause congestion, to prevent it then assigned the people
to arrange a parking lot on the edge of a public road known as the interpreter
parking. This study aims to analyze the satisfaction of officers Department of Transportation
on the performance of public roadside parking attendants as service innovation to
community Ponorogo. The location of this study is in Ponorogo Regency.
The type of research used in this study is descriptive.
Qualitative descriptive research is a type of research method required
to lift and peel a problem, the study then elaborated
in an analysis to obtain conclusions according to the initial purpose. Research
by focusing more observation on the object and prioritize assessment
research from researchers. The type of data collected in this study is Data
Primary, IE data obtained by interview (interview), observation
(observation), as well as documentation. Satisfaction provided by the Department of Transportation
against the performance of parking attendants in Ponorogo Regency is good enough, it is marked
from interviews to informants. Knowledge and ability of parking attendants
regarding the functions and duties of the subject is limited so that it is difficult to master with
okay. Public roadside parking services need to be improved, especially in terms of
parking facilities are ranked last in terms of Service. Innovation
services to the community here with regard to clarity and certainty rates
parking levy, ticket certainty, clarity of parking signs that can be easily
obtained by users of parking services. Innovation efforts can be implemented through
e-parking or online parking that will make it easier for people to pay tariffs
parking, in this effort is expected to reduce the leakage
parking levy and make it easier for Related Agencies to eradicate illegal parking.
