Parenting patterns can be a major factor in the formation of religious character possessed by children. And because of that, in this study, we want to know what kind of parenting is used by parents in the Perumnas Blok J Karawang environment in educating children so that what kind of character the children at the age of teenagers look like in this environment.
This research has several objectives, namely 1) To find out the parenting in the Perumnas Blok J West Karawang. 2) To determine parenting patterns in the Perumnas Blok j West Karawang environment. 3) To find out the impact of parenting in the Perumnas block j Karawang Barat environment on the religious character of adolescent children.
The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative method. With the methods of observation, interviews and documentation, researchers can see how the parenting style applied by parents in that environment in detail. Democratic parenting style can be more dominant in making children as individuals who are more obedient to religious character and to activities or rules given by parents because this parenting style has two-way communication.
