The use of real objects as learning tools for children can make children actively learn and develop various skills and abilities in interacting with the world around themThe methods used in this study included the development of APE playhouse products, validation of APE products, and testing of APE products on children. Through validation of APE products and trials on children, it is hoped that the effectiveness and attractiveness of APE Playhouses can be known in the early childhood learning process.
The results of the research are to produce products in the form of educational game tools APE "Playhouse" made of plywood and shaped like a house with a unique shape and attractive color. There are games on 4 sides of the house and the yard that can develop aspects of child development. APE "Play House" introduces the house sub-theme through pictures and audio of house sub-theme songs, songs of family members, audio prayers going into the house, and audio prayers leaving the house. Through the product validation and trial stages the APE "Play House" product provides benefits for early childhood development, in this case for the introduction of the concept of home, the development of motor skills, cognitive, social-emotional, art, language, and religious and moral values. Children show high interest and enthusiasm while using this game tool.
