Abstract

This research examines the juridical observations of criminal acts of sexual
violence against children using the case study of judge's decision number
11/Pid.Sus/2022/Pn Wno. This research will discuss what factors cause sexual
violence against children and how to resolve these cases based on normative law
regarding sexual violence against children in Indonesia.
This research is a type of normative juridical research, which was carried
out to find out whether the verdict sent by the court was appropriate. In this research,
there are two sources of data, namely primary and secondary data. Primary data
consists of laws that specifically discuss sexual violence against children, while
secondary data sources used are books, journals or information from the internet.
Therefore, the data collection technique used in this research is the library research
method.
In general, the conclusion of this research is that there are several factors
that cause cases of sexual violence against children based on several journals
regarding factors that cause sexual violence against children and the author's
analysis of the chronology of the incident. In normative law in Indonesia, there are
laws that specifically discuss sexual violence against children. Apart from that, the
perpetrator's sentence was in accordance with applicable law.
