EFFECTIVENESS OF HYPNOSIS METHODS ON LEVEL
CHILDREN'S ANXIETY DURING CIRCUMCISION
At WAROK KHITAN PONOROGO

Circumcision is known as circumcision, circumcision or supit, one of the Islamic laws that is carried out for both men and women. Circumcision or circumcision often causes anxiety in children. Anxiety is an unpleasant and unjustified feeling of fear which is often accompanied by physiological symptoms. There are many methods to reduce fear, one of which is using the hypnosis method, radical mesmerism, anchor. The aim of the research was to determine the effectiveness of the hypnosis method on children's anxiety levels during circumcision.
The research design used correlation. The research population was children who underwent circumcision at the Ponorogo circumcision warok. The sampling used is Consecutive Sampling. The research sample was 20 respondents. Data were collected using observation sheets of children who were circumcised using the hypnosis method. The data analysis technique uses the Wilcoxon test with a p value of 0.000 with a significance level of <0.05.
Of the 20 respondents who underwent circumcision after using the hypnosis method, 8 respondents (40.0%) showed no anxiety, and 12 respondents (60.0%) showed mild anxiety.
The research results show the effectiveness of circumcision using the hypnosis method on changes in respondents' anxiety levels . A suggestion for a faster hypnosis technique to use on children who are about to be circumcised is to use the anchor hypnosis technique .
