Abstract

Abstrak
Dampak kecemasan jika tidak diatasi dengan baik akan mengakibatkan perubahan secara fisik maupun psikologis. Pengobatan kecemasan secara farmakologi dapat mengakibatkan ketergantungan. Sehingga untuk mengurangi kecemasan dapat dilakukan menggunakan terapi nonfarmakologi dengan pemberian Cytrus (Orange) Aromatherapy. Tujuan dari penelitian tersebut untuk menganalisis Pengaruh Cytrus (Orange) Aromatherapy Terhadap Tingkat Kecemasan Pada Pasien Pre Operasi Hernia Di RSU Darmayu Ponorogo.
Penelitian ini menggunakan desain pra-eksperimental dengan one-group pre-post test design. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 32 orang yang mengalami kecemasan pre operasi hernia menggunakan teknik sampling Consecutive sampling dengan pengumpulan data menggunakan lembar Kuisioner APAIS. Pemberian Cytrus (Orange) Aromatherapy diberikan 1 hari sebelum operasi dan 2 jam sebelum tindakan operasi hernia.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata tingkat kecemasan sebelum pemberian terapi cytrus (orange) aromatherapy sebesar (15,03). sedangkan rata-rata tingkat kecemasan setelah pemberian terapi cytrus (orange) aromatherapy sebesar (13,38). Hal ini dapat disimpulkan terdapat perbedaan tingkat kecemasan pada pasien pre-operasi hernia sebelum dan sesudah pemberian terapi cytrus (orange) aromatherapy yaitu nilai p-value adalah p=0,000, maka nilai tesebut <0,05.
Terapi non farmakologi cytrus (orange) aromatherapy dapat mengurangi kecemasan pasien pre operasi hernia.
