Abstract

ABSTRACT
The aim of this research is to find out how the Plurturan village government's policy is in regenerating players for the Ancient Reyog performance, how the regeneration of players for the Ancient Reyog performance is carried out, and the inhibiting factors in the regeneration of players for the Ancient Reyog performance. In this research, David Easton's system theory is used to determine the policy of the Plurturan village government in the regeneration process. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method, with data collection methods in the form of interviews with resource persons. The Plunturan Village Government's policy is to maintain the preservation of the Ancient Reyog, the Village Government drafted a Cultural Heritage Village Regulation in 2020. This village regulation was drafted to maintain the preservation of the ancient Pakem Reyog. Apart from that, the role played by the Plunturan Village Government is very large in maintaining and involving the community so that the Ancient Pakem Reyog dance can continue to be preserved. The Village Government runs this conservation program from children to adults. The regeneration of the Ancient Reyog players themselves has been trained since they were children when they were still in elementary school. With performance participants reaching 50 people or more. There are 4 types of Ancient Reyog, namely Elder Reyog, Karang Taruna Reyog, PKK Mother Reyog, Mini Reyog. The Plunturan Village Government created a cultural heritage village regulation to maintain the preservation of the Ancient Reyog Pakem. There is a factor inhibiting the regeneration of ancient reyog performance players due to lack of funds. . The Delsa Government Government has also failed to obtain funding from sponsors but has been hampered by the lack of participation from the public.
