Abstract

Abstract

In Pacitan Regency, the distribution of electrical energy is still not optimal. Based on data from the Mining and Energy Service (Distamben), there are areas in Pacitan that do not yet have PLN electricity. One of them is in Karangmulyo Hamlet, Sudimoro Village, Pacitan Regency, East Java Province. The location consists of mountains and hills so it is difficult for the PLN network to enter this remote area, this causes minimal lighting at night and can disrupt community activities in Karangmulyo Hamlet, Sudimoro Village. The geographical location of Sudimoro Village has an average annual rainfall of around 2,023-2,746 mm/year with the number of rainy days around 98-134 days/year and because it is a mountainous area, it gets more sunlight. Based on these problems, researchers utilized a hybrid electricity design with a combination of PLTS and PLTAH using piezoelectricity. This design is made with two main components, namely a solar cell component and a piezoelectric component. In this research, the maximum electrical energy obtained by PLTS received the highest voltage of 20.6 volts between 12.00 and 13.00 when the weather was bright or sunny. Meanwhile, when it rains, PLTAH is able to supply voltage too. The voltage produced by PLTAH using piezoelectricity when it rains is 5.2 volts. The design of a hybrid power plant with a combination of PLTS and PLTAH is a combination of the two seasons in Indonesia so that it can produce maximum electricity.
