ABSTRACT
This study aims to analyze the financial performance of insurance companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange using the early warning system ratio from 2018 to 2022. This study uses benchmarks made by the National Association of Insurance Commissioners (NAIC). The research population consists of insurance companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2018 to 2022. The sample was taken using purposive sampling technique and the sample obtained in this study consisted of eight companies. The research method used is descriptive and quantitative analysis. The data used is data for the early warning system ratio contained in the company's financial statements. The results showed that the ratio indicator that showed the best value was the liquidity ratio, and the ratio that showed a bad category was the own retention ratio. In general, insurance companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange have a good reputation or are in the good category, therefore it can be concluded that the early warning system ratio can be used to assess the financial performance of insurance companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange.
