Divorce is a matter that occurs between a husband and wife who no longer have the goal of living together, usually divorce occurs due to quarrels, infidelity, economic shortages and a lack of gratitude between partners. Currently, there are many divorces from early marriages or marriages that have been married for a long time. Divorces that occur mostly stem from issues of responsibility for income and incompatibility between partners in the household.
Moral education is education that must be imparted to teenagers from as early an age as possible so that teenagers are accustomed to moral teachings according to the Al-Quran and As-Sunnah. Why is that because from teenagers at an early age it is easier to understand new things. Many teenagers today lack the capital for moral education, especially teenagers who experience broken homes.
The purpose of this research is to find out the impact after parental divorce on teenagers in Grogol Village, what is the moral education of teenagers after their parents' divorce, and also what efforts are given by foster parents/one of the fathers/mothers to the moral education of teenagers after the divorce.
Researchers use a qualitative approach, a type of field research. Researchers as the key instrument for data collection. Data collection techniques through observation interviews and documentation.
These findings are: 1) The impact of parental discord on the morals of teenagers in Grogol village, namely wild behavior, promiscuity and drinking. The main cause of this impact is a lack of parental love so they seek attention outside the family environment. 2) After divorce, teenagers are more aggressive, emotionally unstable, easily angered, mental damage to children, children will lose the figure of a father/mother. 3) Parents' efforts to educate teenagers' morals after the divorce in Grogol village focused more on activities outside the home, resulting in less supervision and education of teenagers. The efforts of the father/mother's foster parents in educating Islamic morals, even though they only have a little time, some also remind Renaja to pray 5 times a day, explain to teenagers the reasons for divorce, convince children that their parents still love them even though they are no longer in the same house, no limiting the child's meetings with one of the parents'ormerpartners.
