As time goes by, the development of the tahfizh program is increasingly rapid with various learning models. On the one hand, we are proud of the number of memorizers of the Qur'an, but on the other hand we are concerned, because there are many memorizers of the Qur'an whose reading of the Qur'an is far from the correct rules of recitation. And very few of them recite verses from the Koran. Researchers are interested in researching at MTs Tahfzih Alam Qur'an which has always prioritized tahsin and tadabbur in learning tahfizhul Qur'an. The aim is to find out how the tahsin and tadabbur learning model is applied at MTs Tahfizh Alam Qur'an Ponorogo.
This research uses qualitative research methods with descriptive research type. Research location at MTs Tahfizh Alam Qur'an Ponorogo. Data sources were obtained through observation, interviews and documentation. The data used in this research are primary data and secondary data. As sources in this research were the head of the Madrasah, the head of the Ketahfizhan department, and the musyrif or Tahfizh teacher. The data analysis technique in this research uses data collection, data reduction, data presentation and verification steps.
The results of this research found that: (1) The tahsin and tadabbur learning model at MTs Tahfizh Alam Qur'an Ponorogo with stages, namely, first planning includes determining goals, schedules, determining human resources, preparing infrastructure, secondly implementation includes tahsin material, media , learning model, and practice of tahsin and tadabbur, third evaluation. (2) The impact of the tahsin and tadabbur learning model, among others, first for students, students are able to improve students' memorization, both the quality of appreciation and quantity of memorization, second for teachers, teachers find it easier to accompany and guide students, third for students' parents, they feel proud when his son memorizes well, fourth for the institution, the institution is getting better quality.
