Abstract

Empowerment training is carried out as a form of the state's presence to help people
get jobs and improve their standard of living after work, especially for vocational
school students who are prepared to go straight to work, so evaluation is needed so
that this empowerment training program can be optimal. The aim of this research
is to find out the results of the evaluation of the basic electrical installation training
program to empower vocational school students at the Indonesian Railway
Polytechnic (PPI) Madiun. This type of qualitative research uses descriptive data
analysis techniques and sampling using purposive sampling techniques. The basic
electrical installation training organized by PPI Madiun received enthusiasm from
the participants. The majority of participants assessed that the training held had a
positive impact on them. Things that need to be evaluated again are related to
training registration information which is not widespread enough so that some
schools do not know information about the implementation of empowerment
training carried out by PPI Madiun
