This study aims to determine the quality of news on news posts dated 2, 19, 20, 24 June 2024 Instgram account @ponorogo.update as a citizen journalissm container. The theory used is the 4 dimensions of information quality assessment initiated by Nelson. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with 4 informants who have been determined by researchers. Ahmad rifai account owner @ponorogo.update and three active followers of the account @ponorogo.update. The results of this study are the value of news quality in posts dated 2, 19, 20, 24 June 2024 from @ponorogo.update accounts as a forum for citizen journalism. Referring to Nelson's theory on information quality assessment, it is explained that information quality is assessed using 4 dimensions, namely accuracy, completeness, currentness, and formatting. After observations and interviews, @ponorogo.update has fulfilled these 4 dimensions well. Instagram account @ponorogo.update plays an important role in providing information for local communities, the speed and interest of content with local needs make this account a reliable source of information by its followers.
