Hardness test datashows significant variation between test specimens. Test specimens withHDPE:Mahogany wood powder ratio of 60:40 at 280°C temperature showed the highest hardness value of HRB 77.8 while with theHDPE:Mahogany wood powder 40:60 ratio at 260°C has the lowest hardness with HRB 9.3.For HDPE plastic blends, it is more dominant to have a high hardness value with a high melting temperature which can also affect the hardness of the specimen.affect the hardness of the specimen.
