Abstract
Data security issues have become a major focus, especially in the information technology era where almost all data is stored online and can be accessed by anyone, which raises concerns about the possibility of customer and sales data leaking, especially for businesses and organizations that rely on digital platforms for operations. The largest data leak case in the world in 2022, the case of personal data leakage of Tokopedia and Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI) users. This vulnerability arises when the data security system used is still not secure and is easily diverted by irresponsible parties. This research aims to find out how to secure customer data using the RSA (Rivest-Shamir-Adleman) algorithm on the customer database at Pak Nurhadi Grocery Store. From the results of this research it can be concluded that the implementation of the Rivest Shamir Adleman Algorithm (RSA) on the TOKOKU website database has succeeded in significantly increasing data security. The use of this technique provides a good layer of protection for sensitive data, especially personal data and transaction data.
