ABSTRACT
This study aims to analyze the political strategy of the Gerindra Party in facing the 2024 legislative elections in Ponorogo Regency. The theory used in this study includes the Social Capital theory from various important business points, social capital is the same as, sources of information. Ideas, business opportunities, financial capital, power, emotional support, goodwill, trust and cooperation provided by individuals and business networks. The research method used is qualitative descriptive, with data collection through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study show that although the Gerindra Party experienced an increase in seats from five to six, the challenge faced is a voter base that is very religious and fanatical towards other parties. Gerindra takes a direct approach to the community, especially farmers, through various activities and intensive communication. Although they managed to get the most votes for DPRD candidates, they still lost in the number of seats due to the dominance of other parties, especially the PDI. This study emphasizes the importance of direct friendship and participation in community activities to build support, as well as the need for a more specific approach to religious voters in Ponorogo to improve the results of the upcoming election.
