Political developments in the general election era often present dynamics that influence people's behavior and support for presidential candidates, especially in certain areas. In Pucanganak Village, people's behavior is very obedient to the influence of figures in several aspects, something that is quite unique where in terms of politics they are more dynamic without being influenced by anything. Therefore, this study aims at two main things: (1) to find out people's behavior in the 2024 presidential election in Pucanganak Village, (2) to find out the factors that influence the political behavior of Pucanganak Village residents in the 2024 presidential election. This research is a quantitative study using a survey method. The population consists of 2,573 with a random sample of 96 in Pucanganak Village. Data collection techniques in this study are questionnaires and documentation. Data analysis was carried out using validity, reliability, normality, homogeneity tests and using simple statistical calculations.
The results of this study are: 1) The form of political behavior of the community in the 2024 presidential election in Pucanganak Village is divided into 5 dominant categories, namely behavior that does not depend on rewards, transparency of work programs, more independent political awareness, real programs that side with the community and the existence of a sustainable vision and mission of the candidate pair. 2) The factors that influence community behavior in the 2024 presidential election the most are the good character of the candidate, socialization during the campaign and information on the vision and mission available about the candidate.
