APPLICATION OF PROGRESSIVE MUSCLE RELAXATION IN POST-SURGERY BHP TURP PATIENTS WITH ACUTE PAIN PROBLEMS
IN THE MAS MANSYUR ROOM, MUHAMMADIYAH HOSPITAL, PONOROGO

BPH ( Benign Prostate Hyperplasia ) is a condition disease Where happen enlargement on prostate due to glandular hyperplasia prostate will experience enlargement benign so that can cause obstruction And restriction on urinary tract (urethra) and pressure under womb Benign urinary tract Prostate Hyperplasia (BPH) can handled in a way conservative and also operative . Action conservative in the form of observation ( watchful waiting ) is carried out supervision periodic every 3-6 months And with medicines . While action operative in the form of prostatectomy , Incision Prostate Transurethral (TUIP), and Transurethral Resection Prostate (TURP). Procedure operation , allowing emergence problem nursing pain . Therapy reduce painful possible to do with giving drug pharmacological And non- pharmacological therapy Wrong the only one implementation relaxation muscle progressive . Giving relaxation muscle progressive will make muscles become relax And become distraction to painful so that painful can reduce Because with done action the .
Study This done on 04 – 08 October 2024 in the Mas Mansur Room, Muhammadiyah Hospital Ponorogo . Respondent namely Mr. S with BPH Turp is having problems nursing painful And will be done implementation relaxation muscle progressive For reduce pain . Instruments use Standard Operational Procedure And sheet observation .
From the results Mr. S patient assessment say feel painful on part stomach down , felt hot And like sliced , from results inspection scale pain 6, felt Keep going continuously And burdensome moment For move . Intervention that is implementation relaxation muscle progressive For reduce pain . Results implementation show that after he did implementation for 5 days in succession , the problems that occur on client there is change towards the more well marked with decline scale painful patient from scale 6 to scale 2. Based on from objective data And subjective that exists to Mr. S then researcher conclude that problem nursing Painful I relate with Agent injury physical ( procedure) operation ) resolved . Study case This expected can give description And become reference in implementation relaxation muscle progressive For reduce painful .
