This study aims to create a good mathematics learning media "Geri" on the material of geometric transformation, sub-chapter reflection and meets the criteria of validity, practicality, and effectiveness. This learning media was developed using the Genially platform and Geogebra software to create an interesting learning experience and support active student involvement in the learning process. This research is expected to provide a positive contribution in the development of learning media that is in accordance with learning objectives and achievements.
This research is a Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) development model. The subjects of this study were 17 students of class XI MA Al-Azhar Sampung. Data collection techniques in this study were through observation, interviews, questionnaires, and test questions. The instruments used were validation sheets of material and media experts, questionnaires on the practicality of teachers and students, and test questions on the effectiveness of learning media. Data were analyzed descriptively quantitatively to determine the validity, practicality, and effectiveness of the learning media developed.
The results of the study showed that the mathematics learning media "Geri" obtained a validity value from material experts of 94,44% and from media experts of 86,66%, both included in the "Very Valid" criteria. In the practicality trial, based on the results of the student practicality questionnaire, the percentage was 89.22% with the "Very Practical" criteria and in the teacher practicality questionnaire, the percentage was 77.5% with the "Practical" criteria. Meanwhile, the effectiveness trial was shown through the results of student tests which reached a percentage of 81.12% with the "Very Effective" criteria. Based on the test results obtained, it can be concluded that the mathematics learning media "Geri" is a good learning media to use. The researcher suggests that further development can be carried out on other materials and collaborated with more diverse platforms.
