Abstract

Fiki Amaliya. Development of FUNTEC SIGRA as a Mathematics Learning Media on Statistics Material for Grade X at SMK Al-Islam Joresan. Thesis. Mathematics Education Study Program, Universitas Muhammadiyah Ponorogo. Advisor 1: Uki Suhendar, M.Pd.; Advisor 2: Dwi Avita Nurhidayah, M.Pd.
This study aims to describe the development stages of the Funtec Sigra learning media. In addition, it also aims to explain the validity, practicality, and effectiveness values in order to determine the feasibility of the Funtec Sigra mathematics learning media. These values are obtained after the development stages are completed.
This research is a Research and Development (R&D) study that employs the ADDIE model, which consists of the stages: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The subjects of the research were 28 students of SMK Al-Islam Joresan. The data collection techniques used were interviews, observations, questionnaires, and tests. The questionnaires used in this study included a validity questionnaire, a practicality questionnaire, and a multiple-choice test. The data analysis technique used a descriptive quantitative approach obtained from the results of validity, practicality, and effectiveness tests.
The development results at the analysis stage include needs analysis, learning problem analysis, and curriculum analysis. The design of the media was carried out using Scratch and Canva, consisting of three main sections: introduction, learning materials, and evaluation questions. In the development stage, the product was validated by content and media experts. In the implementation stage, the product was tested on 28 Grade X students and a mathematics teacher at SMK Al-Islam Joresan. The evaluation stage included revisions based on expert feedback. The validity value obtained from the content expert was 92.3%, and from the media expert was 97.1%, indicating that the learning media is highly valid. The practicality score from the mathematics teacher was 86%, and from the 28 students was 81.61%, indicating that the media is highly practical. The effectiveness score reached 83.9%, indicating that the learning media is highly effective.
