Abstract

This research was conducted with the aim of describing in depth the use of multimedia learning as a method of storytelling for early childhood teachers. The research method carried out is using qualitative and descriptive approaches. Qualitative research is carried out by taking data in the field and then analyzing it with the aim of studying the use of multimedia and describing supporting and inhibiting factors. Research data collection is carried out in several steps, namely observation, interviews, and documentation. The validity of the data used is source triangulation and technique triangulation. The researcher in-depth took data on the predetermined research object. The results of the research conducted show that the use of interactive multimedia as a method of teacher storytelling is well realized. Children show more enthusiasm and focus when listening to stories. The supporting factors in this method consist of children's enthusiasm, support from the school and the teacher's creative teaching methods. However, obstacles such as limited facilities and children's focus, so the active role of teachers is needed to ensure equitable engagement
