Abstract

Profit growth is a financial indicator that describes a company's ability to increase net profit from one period to the next. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of inventory turnover, operating cash flow, and company size on profit growth. This research was conducted on industrial companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the 2020-2023 period. This study attempts to answer the research question regarding profit growth in industrial companies listed on the IDX for the 2020-2023 period.
This research is quantitative, using secondary data obtained from the financial statements of industrial companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the 2020-2023 period. The population in this study was all industrial companies listed on the IDX for the 2020-2023 period. The sample size for this study was 68, derived from 17 samples multiplied by the four-year study period. The sampling method used was purposive sampling, with specific sample criteria created to represent the entire study population.
The results of the study indicate that, partially, the Inventory Turnover variable has no effect on Profit Growth, the Operating Cash Flow variable has no effect on Profit Growth, and the Company Size variable has no effect on Profit Growth. Simultaneously, the results indicate that there is no influence between Inventory Turnover, Operating Cash Flow, and Company Size on Profit Growth.
