Abstract

The classical learning system is still maintained as a learning concept in
several pesantren in the archipelago. This system refers to the principle of
education known as mulazamah. The implementation of the mulazamah system is
trying to be applied in Darul Ulum Islamic Boarding School Takeran Magetan with
the hope that it can be an effective learning method in instilling shar'i knowledge.
Based on the description above, this study aims to determine the planning
of the application of the mulazamah system in fiqh learning at Darul Ulum Islamic
Boarding School Takeran Magetan, the process of applying the mulazamah system
in fiqh learning at Darul Ulum Islamic Boarding School Takeran Magetan, and to
determine the evaluation of the application of the mulazamah system in fiqh
learning at Darul Ulum Islamic Boarding School Takeran Magetan.
This type of research is qualitative research by selecting Darul Ulum
Islamic Boarding School students as samples. Data collection techniques using
instruments: Documentation, observation and in-depth interviews with informants.
And the data analysis techniques used are data analysis, data reduction, data
presentation and conclusion drawing.
The results show that the mulazamah system is effective as a learning
concept in mastering shar'i knowledge. The important point obtained from the
application of the mulazamah system is that students interact directly with the
teacher, accompanying and taking knowledge from him. Mulazamah also has the
characteristics of learning from the basics, gradual and tiered which then gives
birth to students who have mastery in shar'i knowledge.
