Abstract
Grape cultivation requires appropriate soil quality, but manual monitoring of soil conditions have limitations in accuracy and in punctuality. This research aims to develop an Internet of Things (IoT)-based soil quality monitoring and prediction system with the integration of the Random Forest algorithm to support grape cultivation. This system uses pH and humidity sensors connected to an ESP32 microcontroller and sends data in real-time to a MySQL database, which is then analyzed through a web interface. The Random Forest algorithm processes data through three decision trees to classify soil conditions into three categories: Normal, Warning, and Critical. The method are develop tool design, collecting data ofgrape fields in Ponorogo, and system testing using White-box and Black-box methods. The results show that the system is able to classify soil conditions with a good level of accuracy and provides an easily accessible interface for users. The conclusion is, the system have the experiences that the better condition of the soil to cultivate the grape on pH 6,6 until 7,5 and the humidity of 20% until 30%.
