Abstract

Thesis: "The Impact of Legi Market Renovation on Vendor Sustainability and Sales Turnover" : "; Salwa Noor Fazira, Student ID 21420731, Development Economics Study Program, Faculty of Economics, Muhammadiyah University of Ponorogo

This study aims to determine the impact of Legi Market renovation on vendor sustainability and sales turnover. Traditional markets are an important part of the local economic system, but often experience a decline in functionality due to inadequate physical conditions of the buildings. Market renovation is one of the government's efforts to improve market quality to make it more suitable and comfortable for both vendors and buyers. This study used a quantitative approach with a survey method through questionnaires distributed to regular vendors at Legi Market before and after the renovation. The data analysis technique used was a paired sample t-test to compare conditions before and after the market renovation. The results showed a significant difference in vendor sustainability and sales turnover before and after the renovation. The average vendor business sustainability score and sales turnover increased after the renovation. This indicates that the market renovation has a positive impact on the economic activities of vendors at Legi Market.
