Abstract

Module mathematic is one of teaching material which can help student for understanding material
mathematic. The minimum teaching material, specifically for module, causing students found difficulty in their
studied. Solution for was problem, this research purpose for make the better mathematic modul in material
plane face of solid shapes level junior high school class VIII.
Method in this research use method research and development of Sugiyono, but because limited of time,
energy and cost then this research until trial of product procedure. The procedures of development is (1)
potential and problem, (2) data collection, (3) design product, (4) validation design product, (5) revision design
product, (6) trial of product, (7) revision product, (8) final of product. The collect material product used
questionnaire method. Expert questionnaire for knowing mathematics module validity and students respons
questionnaire for knowing students respons about mathematics module. The result of the expert review of
media got 86% and the result of the expert review of content got 85,5% this indicate that module is valid, and
then revision module from suggest and input validator. The module was revision tried of product limited scale
with sum of respondent 15 student until indicate that student really understanding of material, and then given
response with percentage of response 85% which indicate that used that module found positive response.
The final of product in this research is mathematic module plane face of solid shapes level junior high
school class VIII. Result of percentage from validation design module and student response indicate that
mathematic module plane face of solid shapes valid and can used as material teaching.
