Reog Ponorogo is one of Indonesia's cultural heritages that has been recognized as an Intangible Cultural Heritage (WBTB) by UNESCO. This recognition has a significant impact on the policies of the Ponorogo Regency Government in preserving the art and tradition of Reog Ponorogo. This study aims to analyze the policy formulation of the Ponorogo Regency Government in supporting the preservation of Reog culture after UNESCO's determination. The research method used is qualitative with a descriptive approach, through interviews, observation, and document analysis. The results showed that the Ponorogo Regency Government has initiated various strategic policies, including cultural protection regulations, cultural education programs in schools, and promotion through festivals and digital media. However, challenges in policy implementation are still found, such as budget constraints, cultural modernization, and the lack of regeneration of Reog artists. Therefore, synergy between the government, cultural community, and UNESCO is needed to ensure the sustainability of Reog Ponorogo as a regional cultural identity as well as an economic resource.
