EMERGENCY NURSING CARE FOR STEMI PATIENTS WITH ACUTE PAIN
(Case Study at Dr. Hardjono Ponorogo Regional Hospital)

ST Elevation Myocardial Infarction (STEMI) is an emergency condition characterized by acute chest pain and requires immediate treatment to prevent myocardial damage. Untreated pain can worsen the patient's condition. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study design.
Implementation of nursing care is carried out for STEMI patients in the emergency room and the Arundina room at RSUD dr. Hardjono Ponorogo for 3 days, including assessment, diagnosis, intervention, implementation and evaluation.
The results of the study showed that stemi patients with acute pain nursing problems took the form of non-pharmacological therapy (deep breathing relaxation and Al-Qur'an murottal) and collaborative pharmacological therapy. Evaluation showed a decrease in the pain scale from 8 to 3 and the patient's vital signs also improved, indicating a positive response to the combination of therapies given.
Providing nursing care to patients with acute pain nursing problems is expected to be a reference for nurses in treating patients, especially in providing care to individuals with acute pain problems.
