Abstract

Archive management has become an important aspect in schools, as effective asset management greatly facilitates schools in managing existing assets. In this case, at State Elementary School 2 Maroon, the staff responsible for archive management still use a manual bookkeeping method to manage archives. This approach is considered inaccurate and less effective for archive data management due to several weaknesses, including the need for many record books, inefficient time required to search archive data, the requirement for large storage space, and the risk of files being damaged or lost.

Therefore, it is necessary to update the system into a computerized system that can fulfill the needs previously handled by the manual system. This condition motivated the author to develop an archive management application. The application is web-based and utilizes a simple search algorithm.

This study aims to develop an archive management application that functions to record and search data related to facilities and infrastructure archives at State Elementary School 2 Maroon, thereby making archive data management more efficient. In this application, staff can perform data input, data editing, data searching, and data deletion. The author expects that the development of this application will assist archive management staff in managing facilities and infrastructure archives more effectively.
