Abstract
This study aims to analyze how financial performance affects the stock prices of commercial banks listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during the 2020–2024 period. Financial performance is measured using three main indicators: Return on Assets (ROA), Return on Equity (ROE), and Earnings per Share (EPS). This research employs a quantitative associative design and utilizes secondary data obtained from annual financial reports and stock price records published on the official IDX website and the respective banks’ websites. The sample is selected using purposive sampling, resulting in four commercial banks classified under the KBMI 4 category. The data are analyzed using multiple linear regression techniques. The results show that Return on Assets (ROA) has a statistically significant partial effect on stock prices, while Return on Equity (ROE) and Earnings per Share (EPS) do not have a significant individual effect. However, when considered simultaneously, ROA, ROE, and EPS collectively have a significant influence on stock prices during the observed period. These findings suggest that investors place greater emphasis on the efficiency of asset management when evaluating banking stocks.
