ABSTRACT

Sumbersawit Village is one of the villages located in Sidorejo District, Magetan
Regency, West Java. The majority of Sumbersawit villagers are engaged in agriculture
and plantations. Sumbersawit village has many tuber plants, one of which is gadung.
Gadung is a type of tuber that grows wild in forests, yards and plantations. The
processing of gadung into gadung chips is still done traditionally. This is one of the
reasons for the underdevelopment of UMKM gadung chips in Sumbersawit village. This
study is analyzed using a public policy implementation perspective to examine the role
of government actors and the factors influencing its implementation at the local level.
This research was conducted in Sumbersawit Village, Sidorejo District, Magetan
Regency using survey methods and interviews with respondents in the village. The data
used consists of primary data and secondary data. Primary data is data collected through
interviews and direct observation in the field with respondents related to UMKM kripik
gadung. The analysis method used is descriptive qualitative analysis and Quantitave
analysis. The data that has been collected to find out progress in development of
Gadung Chips UMKM in Sumbersawit Village, Sidorejo District, Magetan Regency. It
is hoped that the results of standardization will increase the productivity of gadung
chips.
