This study aims to examine the effect of entrepreneurship education and fear of failure on the entrepreneurial intention of Generation Z in Ponorogo, with self-efficacy as a mediating variable. This research employed a quantitative approach. The population consisted of Generation Z residing in Ponorogo Regency, with a sample of 123 respondents selected using purposive sampling. Data were collected through both online and offline questionnaires and analyzed using the Partial Least Squares–Structural Equation Modeling (SEM-PLS) method with the assistance of SmartPLS 4 software. The results indicate that entrepreneurship education has a positive but insignificant effect on entrepreneurial intention. In contrast, entrepreneurship education has a positive and significant effect on self-efficacy. Fear of failure has a positive but insignificant effect on entrepreneurial intention. Furthermore, the mediation analysis reveals that self-efficacy is unable to mediate the effect of entrepreneurship education or fear of failure on the entrepreneurial intention of Generation Z in Ponorogo Regency.
