Narcotics-related crimes among adolescents are a serious issue that requires attention because they can damage their future and development. At an age when they are still undergoing physical and psychological development, adolescents are more easily influenced by their environment and social circles, which may lead them to become involved in narcotics abuse or trafficking. This study aims to analyze the application of criminal sanctions against children who commit narcotics-related crimes based on the laws applicable in Indonesia. The main legal bases used in this study are Law No. 35 of 2009 on Narcotics and Law No. 11 of 2012 on the Juvenile Criminal Justice System (SPPA). The findings indicate that criminal sanctions imposed on children differ from those imposed on adults. Various measures, such as diversion, rehabilitation, and guidance, are prioritized. Therefore, the imposition of sanctions against adolescent offenders involved in narcotics-related crimes must be carried out fairly and proportionately, while prioritizing the protection, rehabilitation, and future of the child without disregarding the interests of society in combating narcotics-related crimes.
