Abstract
This study aims to analyze the implementation of supervision and guidance for correctional clients granted Parole by the Correctional Center (BAPAS) based on Law No. 22 of 2022 on Corrections, as well as to examine the legal implications for clients who violate the applicable requirements during the supervision and guidance period. This study employs a normative legal research method using a statutory approach and a conceptual approach. The data used consist of secondary data obtained through library research and analyzed qualitatively. The results show that supervision and guidance conducted by BAPAS play an important role in supporting the achievement of correctional objectives, particularly through rehabilitation and social reintegration. Clients granted Parole remain under state supervision and are required to comply with the prescribed general and specific conditions. Violations of these conditions may result in the revocation of Parole and the requirement to serve the remaining portion of the sentence in accordance with applicable laws and regulations. Therefore, the implementation of supervision and guidance by BAPAS plays an important role in ensuring legal certainty, protecting the community, and supporting the successful social reintegration of correctional clients.
