This study aims to analyze the role of the Mobile Brigade Corps (Brimob) of the Indonesian National Police (Polri) in law enforcement in the Madiun area, its involvement in maintaining public security and order, and its impact on regional security stability. This study is motivated by the importance of the presence of a specialized Polri unit with specific capabilities to address high-intensity security disturbances in strategic areas such as Madiun. The method used is normative juridical research with statutory and conceptual approaches. The results show that Brimob serves as a primary supporting force for regional police units (Polres) in high-risk situations, such as handling social conflicts, securing public demonstrations, and conducting public order operations and armed patrols. The physical presence of Brimob contributes to crime prevention, accelerates police responses, and supports security stability and public confidence in law enforcement authorities in the Madiun area.
