Schizophrenia is a severe mental disorder characterized by disturbances in thought, perception, emotion, and behavior. Auditory hallucinations are the most common symptoms in schizophrenia patients, with a prevalence of approximately 70%, which can disrupt social functioning and daily activities. The high incidence of schizophrenia with untreated auditory hallucinations can lead to risks of selfharm, harm to others, and environmental damage, as well as impact the patient's quality of life. This highlights the importance of the nurse's role in providing comprehensive psychiatric nursing care.This case study aims to identify and describe psychiatric nursing care for schizophrenia patients with auditory hallucinations, including assessment, nursing diagnosis, planning, implementation, and nursing evaluation.This study used a descriptive case study method on one schizophrenia patient with auditory hallucinations at Dr. Arif Zainudin Mental Hospital Surakarta. Data collection was conducted through interviews, observation, and documentation study over 6 days of treatment.The assessment results showed that the patient experienced sensory perception disorders in the form of auditory hallucinations that affected behavior and social functioning abilities. The main nursing diagnosis established was Sensory Perception Disorder (D.0085). Interventions were carried out through Implementation Strategies (SP) 1–6 according to Hallucination Management (SIKI). After 6 days of treatment, there was a decrease in the frequency of hallucinations and an improvement in the patient's ability to control their hallucinations. Comprehensive and continuous psychiatric nursing care is effective in helping schizophrenia patients control auditory hallucinations.It is expected that nurses can improve their competence in providing psychiatric nursing interventions, families can provide optimal support to patients, and future researchers can develop studies with larger sample sizes
