Public security and order are essential needs for creating a safe, orderly, and conducive social environment. At the village level, the Bhabinkamtibmas, as a community policing officer, plays a strategic role in carrying out community development and guidance functions. This study aims to examine and analyze the role of Bhabinkamtibmas in supporting security efforts in Josari Village, Ponorogo Regency. This study employs an empirical legal research method with a descriptive qualitative approach. The data were obtained through interviews with the Village Head, community leaders, and villagers, as well as through observations of security activities and community development programs. Data analysis was conducted through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results show that Bhabinkamtibmas plays an important role in supporting public security and order through community guidance and public security awareness programs, encouraging community participation in neighborhood security patrols (siskamling), mediating and resolving conflicts through deliberation, conducting early detection of potential security disturbances, and establishing partnerships with community leaders, religious leaders, and village officials. These roles can increase public awareness of the importance of community involvement in maintaining security in their surroundings. The realization of security and order in Josari Village therefore depends not only on the role of the police but also on active community participation and cooperation between Bhabinkamtibmas and all elements of the community
