IMPLEMENTASI NILAI KARAKTER PEDULI LINGKUNGAN PADA SEKOLAH ADIWIYATA ( Studi Kasus Implementasi Sekolah Adiwiyata SMP Negeri 1 Siman Kabupaten Ponorogo )

Research in SMP Country 1 Siman aims to find out what efforts do the school in the implementing the value of environmental care character in school adiwiyata, and to know what are the supporting and inhibiting factors in implementing the value of environmental care character. This research uses descriptiv qualitative method. Date collection techniques in this study with obsevation techniques, interviews, and documentation. The result of this study indicate that there are 4 efforts that have been done by the school are as follows : (1) enter the value of environmental care character in the learning process, (2) start a healty life movement, (3) cooperate with outsiders, (4) develop activities extracuricular based on the environmental.While the support factor lies in the school infrastructure facilities that have been quite good. The inhibiting factor lies in the student it self, because of the lack of empathy from the student to the environment. Suggestion that researchers provide in this study are : (1) from the above research should be an example for school that will implement adiwiyata and who have implemented adiwiyata. (2) in over coming the existing barriers, teachers are required to be even more extra in providing motivation, advice to student in school. With the support of more teachers than expectes students will be more concerned about.
