Abstract
Keywords: Task pattern, students’ perception, online learning
This research is qualitative descriptive research. The participant of this research was Senior High School 2 Parigi class IPA A which consisted of 13 students. The data collections were questionnaires and observations to find out students’ perception of forms of assignment, types of assignment, E-learning content, advantages, and disadvantages of online learning.
The result of this research showed that regarding the forms and types of assignments given by the teacher to students during online learning, namely in the form of essays and multiple-choice and types of assignments, namely individual and group. the impact of the types and forms of tasks that teachers gave to students during online learning. In terms of the type of task, namely the type of individual, students were more responsible for their learning and improve students' ability to learn independently. Types of groups, students care more about other students, were responsible for the assigned tasks, and the ability to work together or collaborated with other students. In terms of the form of the task, namely the form of an essay, students can be more creative, improve critical thinking, and develop student ideas. In the form of multiple-choice, students were more careful in doing assignments and more careful in completing assignments.
