Abstract
This study aims to determine and identify the pedagogic
competence of teachers in mathematics subjects during the
pandemic. The research method is descriptive qualitative. The subject of this study is a teacher who has 2 characteristics, namely teachers with teaching experience of more than 10 years and less than 10 years. Data obtained through interviews and documentation. The results of the analysis show that there are similarities and differences in the mastery of pedagogic competence of teachers more than 10 years and less than 10 years. The similarities are the online and offline learning and mentoring process during the pandemic, providing approaches and directions to students who have learning
difficulties, the learning process with the aim of helping the student learning process, compiling assessments in accordance with learning objectives to achieve competencies in accordance with the lesson plans, and making results evaluation to improve the design of the next learning process. While the differences in each teacher's characteristics are how to organize classes in the learning process according to the characteristics of students, how to manage classes effectively so that all time can be used productively, carry out learning activities according to curriculum content and relate them to the context of students' daily lives, the media used, the learning resources used, analyzing the results of the assessment to identify basic competencies that are difficult for remedial and enrichment purposes, and the type of assessment to obtain student learning outcomes.
