This study aims to describe (1) the role of parents in instilling environmental care characters in early childhood at Mardisiwi Kindergarten, Tahunan Baru Village, Tegalombo, Pacitan. This type of research is descriptive qualitative. The data collection techniques needed to support this research are observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis techniques used are data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions, while the validity of the findings used is method trigulation. The results of the data obtained from observations, interviews, and documentation are presented descriptively. The subjects of the study were five parents and grade B children of Mardisiwi Kindergarten, Tahuan Baru Village, Tegalombo, Pacitan.
The results of the research conducted showed that the role of parents that was applied in the Mardisiwi Kindergarten, Tahunan Baru Village, Tegalombo District was good, here parents have a role as an inspiration by giving children an example, parents' motivators inspire children by giving praise and facilitators, namely parents provide facilities to their children. children in the form of trash cans and cleaning tools.
