SCIENTIFIC WRITTEN: PHYSICAL NURSING CARE IN SCHHIZOPHRENIC PATIENTS WITH NURSING PROBLEMS SENSORY PERCEPTION DISORDERS: HEARING HALUMINATIONS

Auditory hallucinations are one of the symptoms experienced by schizophrenic patients, auditory hallucinations occur when hearing sounds that are considered different from the mind. Voice content is threatening and offensive, often asking the client to take actions that can harm the client or others. The purpose of writing this scientific paper is to provide nursing care for schizophrenic patients with auditory hallucinations which includes assessment, data analysis, diagnosis, intervention, implementation and nursing assessment.
Nursing care is carried out in Ward Arjuna Dr. Arif Zainudin Surakarta Regional Mental Hospital for 5 days in December 2021. The method used in this scientific article is a nursing care approach.
From the results of the study, it was found that the client experienced auditory hallucinations. After performing nursing care using the implementation strategy (SP), in SP 1 the client was able to control his hallucinations by rebuking. In SP 2, the client can control his hallucinations by taking medication regularly. In SP 3, the client can control his hallucinations by conversing with other people. In SP 4, the client can control his hallucinations by performing scheduled activities. By controlling hallucinations, it can assist clients in controlling hallucinations correctly and appropriately. After implementing the implementation strategy, the problem of nursing hallucinations was resolved.
This nursing care is expected to increase the client's knowledge with the aim of controlling the client's hallucinations.
