ABSTRACT
THE EFFECTIVENESS OF HEALTH EDUCATION WITH AUDIO VISUAL MEDIA ON CLEAN AND HEALTHY LIVING BEHAVIOR (PHBS) IN SCHOOL

Health problems in schools now are complex and varied related to the health of students which are influenced by various factors including the condition of the school environment and clean and healthy living behavior in schools. Some sufferers are infected outside the environment where they live, one of which is at school. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of Health Education with Audio Visual Media on Healthy Clean Living Behavior (PHBS) in Schools”.
The method used in this study is One Group PreTest - PostTest Design which was carried out in May - June 2022. Sampling was carried out with a total sampling technique of 32 children at SDN 1 Nologaten. The technique of collecting data was using a questionnaire and this study used statistical analysis of the Wilcoxon Singed Rank Test with a p value of <0.05.
The results of this study indicate that before Health Education was conducted with audio visual media, most of the respondents were 59.4%. behave negatively and after Health Education was carried out with audio visual media, most of the respondents, namely 75.0%, behaved positively. Bivariate analysis obtained a p-value of 0.00 1< 0.05 so reject H0 and it can be concluded that Health Education with audio-visual media is effective in improving healthy clean-living behavior (PHBS) in schools.
This research can be used by elementary school students to pay more attention to clean and healthy living behavior (PHBS), so as to improve health status which affects the quality of human resources
