Abstract
Immigration Office Class II Non TPI Ponorogo is one of the agencies which handles passport making and as a technical implementing unit carry out the functions of the Directorate General of Immigration in the city of Ponorogo which has the task of inter-state licensing and supervision visits of all people visiting Indonesia or abroad Indonesia. In the passport service visa application process, there are 2 types of applications namely new applications and changes to applicant data. In the data exchange process the applicant has several processes in his submission, namely, the first employee will perform a data search and then check the data according to the book passport shown by the passport owner, after which the employee takes the archive the applicant to make changes to the data, after the process is complete then re-archiving of documents, then a new passport is received by the person concerned. Therefore we need an information system that facilitating effective public services in terms of accuracy and dimmed in search of passport documents. From the findings of these problems it is necessary to create a passport document filing system that can make it easier employees and apply the Boyer Moore algorithm in data search. At 130 the amount of data tested resulted in an average search time of 0.007215454 seconds by presenting 100% accuracy. Keywords: Boyer Moore Algorithm, Passport Services, Search, Archives
